STAYCITY REBRAND
Charlie CD’d the project, leading development of the brand and building of the website.
Staycity offers the flexibility of an apartment and convenience of a hotel however the smartness of the offering was not conveyed clearly through its website, brand or communication. Initially they asked us for a new website, but we used it as an opportunity to refresh their entire brand (and site). We created a friendly and smart identity with a unique voice that conveyed the many possibilities and services available to the guests.
Using a suite of hand-drawn asterisks, layers of meaning and extra information (both useful and entertaining) were added to showcase the brand’s smartness. These combined with a friendly colour palette, clean typography and custom photography built an approachable holistic brand.
The refreshed brand and website led to a significant uptick it direct bookings, something The company had aimed for but struggled with.
